David Daigle (b. Springfield, Massachusetts) is a Los Angeles–based artist, photographer, and educator. He received a BFA in Media Arts from Hampshire College, where he studied with photographer Jerome Liebling, and an MFA in Fine Art from ArtCenter College of Design, where he studied with Diana Thater, Stan Douglas, and Lita Albuquerque.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Daigle established a successful career in commercial photography, creating work for clients including HBO, Disney, Atlantic Records, and Grey Advertising. His photographs have appeared in national and international publications such as Out, Elle Décor, TV Guide, Dwell, and Los Angeles Magazine.

Drawing from this background, Daigle’s artistic practice investigates desire, identity, and consumer culture through photography and sculpture. Through processes of sculptural intervention and décollage, he transforms commercial imagery into perforated surfaces that challenge the authority of photographic images while exploring questions of selfhood, sexuality, and the body. His work expands the traditional boundaries of photography, emphasizing its material presence as much as its representational function.

Daigle is represented by Track 16 in Los Angeles. His work is held in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
